2016 Trade Policy election event on Australia's trade future: international engagement and competitiveness

Ahead of the upcoming federal election, The Export Council of Australia and The Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry are inviting their members to attend a morning tea event with Minister for Trade and Investment, the Hon Steven Ciobo MP, and the Shadow Minister for Trade and Investment, Senator the Hon Penny Wong.

The Minister and Shadow Minister will present their views on issues pertinent to Australia’s international trade agenda before participating in a panel discussion moderated by Peter Martin, Economics Editor for The Age. Joining them on the panel will be a prominent Australian exporter and a senior economist.

All attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions of both Minister Ciobo and Senator Wong as part of the panel discussion.
