The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) has added new ‘Implementationpages for each of the North Asian trade agreements in the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) section of its website.

The Implementation pages supplement DFATs current profiles on Australia’s North Asian economic agreements and list the committees and subcommittees formed under the respective agreements. These committees consider and resolve matters affecting their operation and implementation. DFAT updates the content to be discussed in upcoming committee meetings and welcomes public submissions ahead of Joint Commission meetings.

The ECA encourages it's Members and other companies trading with Japan, South Korea and/or China, to visit DFAT's website to review the information available and put forward submissions, where relevant, regarding issues to do with the operation of the FTA.
