It is with great sadness that we are to farewell a very valuable member of the ECA team.
Stacey Mills-Smith has been with the ECA for over four years. She first joined the organisation to undertake Business Development but very quickly found her passion in Trade Policy and Research.
Over the years, it has been such a pleasure to see how Stacey has grown both personally and professionally and I am extremely proud of the work she has done for the ECA.
As a quick summary, here is just a sneak peek of a few of her major achievements at the ECA over the last couple of years:
- She has been a key team member on the development of the ECA’s last three Trade Policy Statements with the fourth one to launch this November!
- She has been involved in writing 33 of the ECA’s Trade Policy related submissions over the last couple of years.
- She was personally responsible for leading the research and writing the fantastic toolkit for Australian companies regarding Mexico: A Gateway to the America’s.
Whilst I am incredibly sad to be saying goodbye to such a vital member of the ECA team and a friend, I am at the same time very proud to say that Stacey is commencing her Masters at the London School of Economics as of next week.
Stacey will be sincerely missed but she has advised me that she would love to stay in touch and you can reach out to her via LinkedIn.
On behalf of all of the ECA Board and the entire team we wish Stacey the very best of luck!
Lisa McAuley, CEO- Export Council of Australia
PS: yes we did get her a customised "Trade Geek" jumper for the cold weather she is about to endure.
