MENA Connections Seminar 2016: MENA – New Reality, New Markets, New Sectors

By Export Council of Australia · October 18, 2016

The MENA region is undergoing a period of dramatic change driven by two powerful forces: a prolonged period of low oil prices and a major shift towards greater geopolitical and economic stability in its largest countries. This means the region must look for different sources of revenue and ways to restructure and diversify their economies.

In order to effectively position Australia and leverage regional opportunities, Austrade MENA in conjunction with the Department of Foreign Affairs & Trade, State Governments and AACCI are inviting you to learn more about the political and business environment of the region. There will be in-depth discussion on sectors with the most potential in leading export and driving investment back into Australia and in-market support available for Australian entities.

Following the seminar, there will be an opportunity to network with Australian Ambassadors and Trade Commissioners who can help you identify the trade and investment prospects for your company in the MENA region.

Registrations open at 5:30pm, and the session with begin at 06:00pm. The event is free for members and non-members.
